Why should you take a lesson?

You might have rented or borrowed a friend's kayak and paddled around for an afternoon and now you're addicted. You might have been paddling for years but, don't feel capable enough to venture into deep, open water. Let us teach you the skills that will allow you to safely paddle with confidence in all kinds of weather and in all those fun places a sea kayak was meant for.

Sea kayaks are even more fun to paddle when you learn how to make them perform. Don't buy a new kayak because its short, easy to turn, stable and you think it can be lifted onto your car alone. These seem like good reasons at first but, in time and with some training, you will discover that people with "short" and "stable" kayaks are missing out on all the fun. To find out what fun, call us and schedule a lesson.

Our experienced staff teach Intro, Wet Exit ,Intermediate-level, and Advanced-level lessons.
Please see our calendar for the lesson schedule and then call to reserve your place.
All lessons must be pre-paid to sign up. You can pay for the lesson by credit card, by calling or visiting our store.

Individual lessons or group lessons where a group has already been formed (i.e. a group of friends or family) can be scheduled at any time the instructor and customers deem avilable. (i.e. After work, evenings, mornings - call us and we'll work it out)
